One of 20: Canary's Kristin Boorse Named Elevate Prize Finalist

By Kristin Boorse, Founder & CEO of Canary
I'm thrilled, and honestly a little emotional, to share some news: I've been named one of 20 finalists for The Elevate Prize, chosen from more than 3,000 submissions this year.
The Elevate Prize Foundation recognizes bold social impact leaders at a pivotal moment, ready to expand their reach and deepen their impact. I'm still taking in what it means to be among them.
The process so far has challenged me in the best ways possible. It’s pushed me to think deeper about our story, about the leadership this work demands of me, and about how much further we can go. I’ve come out of it more hopeful about a future free from child sexual exploitation.
This recognition isn't mine alone, or even Canary's. It's yours. Whether you've donated, shared our work, or simply cared enough to stay informed, you're part of this fight. You help frontline responders protect our most vulnerable children every day.
Since 2016, investigators using Spotlight have identified more than 28,000 children. Every one has a name, a story still being written, and a future worth protecting. Above all, this honor belongs to them. Their courage drives our work, and it’s why we believe technology can accelerate hope. Together, we’re finding children faster, so that every child can be found.
Being a finalist puts this work on a global stage and gives us a chance to bring even more people into the fight to end child sexual exploitation. I can't think of a better community to celebrate with.
Winners will be announced early next year, and I'll keep you posted.
Thank you for standing with us. Every child seen, every child safe.
Stronger together,
Kristin
